Common questions about how billing, cancellation, and tier availability work.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly, per provider, with no setup fees. You pay for the provider seats you use — no per-patient fees, no hidden costs. Billing begins on the date you activate a paid plan and renews each month on that same date.
The Free plan is always $0. No credit card is required to start.
Can I cancel, and when does it take effect?
You can cancel at any time from your practice dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month — you keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again after that.
There are no cancellation fees and no long-term contracts on available tiers. If you're on a waitlisted tier, no charges apply until the tier opens.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between tiers?
Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing month on the new tier.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing month. Any prepaid amount above the lower tier's price is credited to your next bill. You can change tiers as often as you need — there's no penalty for switching.
What if a tier's features aren't available yet?
We don't activate — or charge for — a plan until its features are ready. The ship-status badges on this page reflect current availability. Today, Free and Practice are available; Pro, Premium, and Enterprise show "Coming soon," and joining their waitlist costs nothing.
When a plan opens, we'll notify you. You activate when you're ready; your billing starts on activation, not on waitlist signup.
Is the Free plan really free? What's included?
Yes. The Free plan is permanently free — no trial period, no credit card required. It includes practice dashboard access, a refill request inbox (up to 50 requests/month), basic patient messaging, AskEvidence, the standard AI Scribe, and up to 20 active patients.
Free is designed for practices getting started with back-office support. When your volume grows, you can move to a paid plan at any time.
